FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah, September 18, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A tornado touched down near Fruit Heights in Davis County shortly before 2 p.m. Friday as thunderstorms brought heavy rain, hail and the threat of flooding to parts of Salt Lake and Davis counties, the National Weather Service confirmed. The tornado was reported at 1:52 p.m.
