The Tooele Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to consider a conditional use permit request, according to a August 31 statement.
Lisa Hadzik, representing Awesome Auto Repair, has requested authorization to operate an automobile repair business at 310 East 2000 North. The property is located within the General Commercial (GC) zoning district and consists of 0.73 acres.
The hearing will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Tooele City Hall, located at 90 North Main Street. Under Section 7-16-3 of the Tooele City Code, automobile repair facilities are permitted as a conditional use within the General Commercial (GC) zoning district.
Public meetings may be recorded and transcribed for documentation and quality assurance. Residents who do not wish to be recorded can attend the meeting electronically via the Tooele City YouTube Channel.
Written comments for the public hearing must be submitted to the City Planner by 11:59 p.m. the day before the hearing. Individuals requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should notify the Tooele City Planner prior to the meeting.
