The Levan Town Council is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Sept. 10, 2026, at Levan Town Hall, according to a Sept. 9 notice.
The meeting, which is scheduled to run from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., will include several administrative actions. According to the agenda, the council will conduct swearing-in ceremonies for new Town Clerk Chelsi Oliver and new Town Treasurer Chelsea Carle.
Other discussion and action items include the introduction and updates for R6, consideration of audit service proposals, and consideration of the CIB's funding package regarding the Water Purchase and Recharge Project. The council will also consider PTIF Authorized Users Resolution No. 09102026-01 and discuss the town newsletter and upcoming holidays and activities.
The meeting agenda also includes the approval of minutes from the Aug. 13, 2026, regular meeting and the approval of various financial reports, including claims, payroll comparisons, and cash receipts.
Public comments will be permitted, with each speaker allowed up to two minutes. The council may also enter a closed session to discuss matters such as litigation, collective bargaining, or real property negotiations.
