Murray City School District will host its annual Parent Registration Assistance Night on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Hillcrest Jr. High School. The event is designed to provide K-12 families with one-on-one, guided support to navigate the enrollment process and eliminate language barriers.
The event will offer a variety of services including hands-on assistance from MCSD team members to ensure registration forms are completed correctly. Salt Lake County Health Department nurses will be present to assist with required vaccinations and healthcare questions.
Additionally, Utah Oral Health Access will provide preventative dental options and permission forms for vision and dental screenings. Families can also apply for free or reduced-price school meal programs on-site. For families facing economic challenges, school administrators and organizers will provide supports including assistance with essential school supplies.
The event is scheduled in two sessions: an afternoon session from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and an evening session from 4:45 PM to 7:00 PM.
To ensure a seamless process, parents are asked to bring a birth certificate, immunization records, insurance information, and proof of residency, such as a utility bill, pay stubs, or a DWS benefits letter.
Transportation is available for families requiring a ride to the event. For additional information or to request transportation assistance, individuals can contact Cris Westerfield at cwesterfield@murrayschools.org.
