The Ogden Valley City Council scheduled a meeting for September 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall Council Chambers. The session was scheduled to run until 8:00 p.m. and included options for electronic participation via Zoom.
The meeting agenda included several items for discussion and potential action. These included Resolution 2026-50 regarding an interlocal agreement for a crossing guard, Ordinance 2026-53 concerning the Shoreline Zone (S-1), Resolution 2026-39 regarding a Truth-in-Taxation Packet, and Ordinance 2026-52 regarding the Ogden Valley Appeal Authority.
Scheduled presentations included a discussion on noxious invasive weeds by Parker Wayment of UDAF, Bart Cragun of WCWB, and Maggi Matthews of USU-Ext, as well as a presentation by Jeff Perry regarding cost saving ideas for law enforcement. Other agenda items included a litigation update, finance and budget updates, and a discussion regarding multi-axle construction vehicle issues.
The meeting was set to take place at 7474 East 200 South, Huntsville, Utah. The City Council reserved the right to hold a closed session for purposes permitted under Utah Code Title 52, Chapter 4.
