Eagle Mountain residents can learn more about the people, services and projects that shape the community by participating in the Fall 2026 Eagle Mountain Academy.
The six-week program offers residents an opportunity to explore different areas of City government through presentations, facility visits and conversations with City staff.
Each session focuses on a different aspect of the community, ranging from public safety and growth to parks, recreation and the day-to-day work required to provide City services.
Classes are held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on the following dates:
September 16: Meet the City
September 23: Keeping the City Safe
September 30: How the City Grows
October 7: See More Outdoors
October 14: No class due to Fall Break
October 21: Building Community
October 28: The City’s Inner Workings
Participants will conclude the program with a Class Celebration and City Council Recognition on November 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
Residents applying for the academy should be prepared to attend at least five of the six classes. This attendance commitment is intended to help participants experience the full range of topics included throughout the academy.
Eagle Mountain Academy provides residents with an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about local government and better understand the work that goes into building and maintaining the community.
