Cavan Sullivan, a 16-year-old Major League Soccer phenom, has been named to the U.S. Men's National Team roster, according to a September 17 report by Mid-Utah Radio. Sullivan, a midfielder for the Philadelphia Union, was selected by head coach Mauricio Pochettino for the four-match international window scheduled for September and October.
Pochettino announced the roster on a Thursday morning, including Sullivan and 27 other players. The coach stated that the selection represents a fresh start, combining experienced players with young talents possessing great potential. Notable absences from this roster include Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun.
