The Maeser Water Improvement District scheduled a board meeting for Sept. 10, 2026, according to a Sept. 9 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. at 1063 North 2500 West in Vernal.
The agenda for the meeting includes approving minutes from the Aug. 13, 2026, meeting and discussing several ongoing items. These include the Vernal City Annexation protest, a draft personnel policy, and an update on the Painted Hills Well iron removal project. Staff reports will cover new connections, tree trimming completion, and the completion of Painted Hills water seepage and water main repairs.
New business items on the agenda include discussions regarding recent surface flooding, 2026 district water usage, and a future petition by Willow Bend Property Co. for annexation into Vernal City. The board will also discuss board member training, an EPA Risk and Resilience Assessment, and the 2027 budget.
