Wasatch Elementary School has released information regarding the upcoming school year, including the first day of classes and scheduled community events. According to a notice on the school's website, students will return for their first day of school on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
A Back to School Night is scheduled for Monday, August 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event allows students and families to meet teachers and visit classrooms.
Kindergarten families have a dedicated schedule on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. A parent meeting will be held in Room 2101 from 2:25 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., followed by a Kindergarten Open House from 2:45 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
The school's official hours are 8:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Morning arrival protocols include a warning bell at 8:35 a.m. and a late bell at 8:40 a.m.
Breakfast doors open at 8:15 a.m. However, for students not receiving school breakfast, they must remain outside until 8:35 a.m. The school advises having students inside the building by 8:35 a.m. to ensure they are ready for instruction when school begins.
