Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are currently in effect at Steinaker State Park, prohibiting all open fires of any kind. This includes fires within established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and any other ash-producing fuel.
Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve remain allowed, provided they are used in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren and contains no flammable vegetation.
Steinaker State Park offers several summer activities such as swimming, hiking, fishing, boating, and OHV riding.
For those visiting during the summer season, full hook-up, electric, or dry campsites are available through reservations from May 15th through September 30th. Electric hook-ups provide 20, 30, and 50 amp service options.
The park maintains a policy of no refunds due to weather, bugs, early departures, or the amount of time spent within the park.
Reservations can be made by calling 800-322-3770.
