Mr. Werner's Symphonic Band has been practicing range extenders to improve technical skills while preparing for an upcoming concert. Students are learning new musical pieces to perform for the school community.
In English 7, students in Ms. Farnsworth and Mrs. Amata's class visited the CMS library for an orientation. The students worked in small groups on a deciphering activity to find a hidden message and learn about library resources.
Mr. Smallcanyon's U.S. History students explored the origins of the United States through storytelling, visual analysis, and discussion. The students examined illustrations, listened to stories, and shared inferences with their table groups and the class.
In 7th Grade PE, students in Mr. Strauss's class practiced frisbee throwing techniques. Students worked in pairs using fabric frisbees to focus on accuracy and form.
