The Ballard City Council has announced a scheduled meeting for Sept. 1, 2026, according to a notice published August 26. The meeting is set to take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 2381 E 1000 S, Ballard, Utah.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes several items regarding land use and municipal operations. According to the notice, the council will consider conditional use permit approvals for the Betts Expansion/Big Daddy Pad and the Big Daddy Frac Pad involving SM Energy and Jason Hill. Other scheduled discussions include a fence discussion by Braulio Castro and a roadside mower discussion led by the Mayor.
Additional agenda items include an award of agreement for attorney services, a review of a contingency regarding the Ferguson Group, and an engineering update from Jeff Baker. The council also plans to review and correct the minutes from the Aug. 18, 2026, meeting and will hear reports from the Uintah County Sheriff, the Mayor, and the City Council. Financial matters involving checks, statements, reports, and the budget are also on the agenda.
