Martin Yablonovsky, an administrator at Timpview High School, has been recognized with the Provo Way Award. The award honors his leadership, optimism, and steady support of students and staff.
Nominator Laura Oldham described Yablonovsky as an incredible administrator who provides thoughtful guidance and addresses concerns. According to Oldham, Yablonovsky responds to those seeking help with care, patience, and professionalism.
Oldham noted that Yablonovsky's leadership helps others feel supported and his calm approach builds confidence in those around him. He was recently noted for handling a sudden event relocation due to rain with optimism and flexibility.
Yablonovsky is set to take on a new role next year as the principal of Independence High School, where his leadership will continue to shape the Provo City School District.
