The Herriman City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 16, 2026, to consider a zoning map amendment for property located near West Herriman Main Street, according to a September 4 notice.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the City Council Chambers located at 5355 W Herriman Main Street. The session is expected to conclude by 9:00 PM.
The commission will review a recommendation to amend the Herriman City Zoning Map from the A-1-43 Agricultural Single-Family Zone to the SR-1 Special Residential Zone, or an equivalent designation. The proposed change for the approximately 5.3-acre property near 7282 W Herriman Main Street would permit residential development of up to 5.5 dwelling units per gross acre, based on a 6,000 square foot lot average.
