The Utah Symphony conducted a statewide summer tour as part of the Music Elevated program. This two-week tour was sponsored by the state to provide free musical performances to the public.
The tour focused on bringing communities together to celebrate the state of Utah and America's 250th birthday. The concerts were designed to be accessible and welcoming, allowing people of all ages to experience the orchestra in a relaxed, outdoor, and community-centered setting.
Scheduled locations for the tour included Wellsville on June 30, Springville on July 2, Capitol Hill on July 3, Midway on July 4, Fillmore on July 7, Cedar City on July 8, and Bryce Canyon on July 10.
The initiative sought to support communities through the Celebrating America 250 collaboration.
