Springville Junior High School administration issued a weekly newsletter providing families with essential information for the start of the school year. The update included instructions regarding student schedules, traffic safety, and upcoming school events.
In accordance with the district's Student Electronic Device Policy, students are asked to bring a printed copy of their schedule.
To ensure safety and traffic flow during morning and afternoon transitions, the school has established specific drop-off lane protocols. The south drop-off lanes, located directly in front of the main entrance, consist of two designated lanes. Drivers are instructed not to drive over the stripes line between the lanes to avoid risks to students in the crosswalk.
The north drop-off lane is located through the north faculty parking lot and utilizes only the left lane. Drivers are advised not to drop off or pick up students from the right lane because there is no crosswalk in that area.
The administration noted that first period was scheduled to start at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18.
Regarding school pictures, picture day was scheduled for Tuesday, August 25. Picture order forms are sent home with students on the first day of school, and parents have the option to prepay online at mylifetouch.com. Retakes were scheduled for Friday, September 25. The school noted that hats and sunglasses are not permitted in school pictures.
The newsletter was issued by RaShel Anderson, Brittany Lundell, and Josh Bravo of the Springville Junior High School administration.
