Canyon Crest has completed its first full week of the school year, according to a September 1 statement. The school reported a successful start for students, parents, teachers, and staff.
A third kindergarten class was added to the school as a last-minute addition. Staff and a local board member worked to prepare the classroom, and the school expects a new kindergarten teacher to join the staff next week.
Morning drop-off procedures have been reported as going well, with students dancing to music while waiting for teachers. School officials expressed gratitude to families for their patience during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures.
