The Heber City Council scheduled an amended meeting for September 15, 2026, to address several municipal items, according to a September 10 notice. The meeting is set to include a work session at 4:00 p.m. and a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
The work meeting portion of the session was scheduled to include a discussion regarding the Terracon schematic design of Main Street Park. Following a scheduled break, the regular meeting was set to address a consent agenda item involving Resolution 2026-22 to rescind Phase II water restrictions, presented by Assistant City Manager J. Mark Smedley.
General business items on the agenda include an affordable housing learning series regarding public and private partnerships, presented by Jake Wood of J. Fisher Co. and Karly Brinla of Brinshore Development. Additionally, Community Development Director Tony Kohler was scheduled to present an update on the telecommunications ordinance.
Action items for the council included the Finch Creek MDA Amendment, options for Heber City Justice Court operations, a cemetery master plan update, and revisions to the city monthly newsletter. The council was also scheduled to convene as the CRA Board to consider bids to raze and cap the Heber Light and Power Building.
