A Honda minivan crashed into a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Lehi on Friday, Aug. 21, according to a report published Aug. 24.
At approximately 7:53 a.m., Lehi Police and Lehi Fire responded to the accident at 651 E. 1630 S. The minivan collided with another car before striking a low brick half-wall on the building's perimeter.
Jeanteil Livingston, Lehi City Communications Manager, stated that the driver of the minivan was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. No critical injuries were reported.
Livingston noted that preliminary information indicates the driver may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash occurred.
The accident is currently under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
