Willowcreek Middle School in Lehi has prepared for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, welcoming back students with high energy. The school also announced the addition of five new teachers for the upcoming academic year.
In an undated notice on the school's website, administration provided several tips for students to begin the year successfully. These recommendations included maintaining a positive attitude, having schedules ready via print or smartphone, and ensuring student ID cards are available for lunch purchases. Students were also advised to charge Chromebooks and ensure parents have completed the Acceptable Use Agreement in the Q Student Information Update.
The school previously coordinated several events, such as a popsicle social with administration on Tuesday, June 23. Additionally, school pictures and Chromebook distribution were scheduled for August 13 and 14 between 8 AM and 3 PM for those unable to attend, while retakes were set for September 29.
The school community also manages various extracurricular opportunities. For instance, the School Community Council oversees the spending of School LAND Trust dollars, with a voting period that occurred from August 12th to August 17th. The school also offers several sports and activities, including cross country, track, volleyball, lacrosse, tennis, mountain biking, and drama classes.
