The Sterling Town Council was scheduled to hold a regular meeting and public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. The meeting was set to take place at the Sterling Town Community Center, located at 75 N. 100 W. in Sterling, Utah.
The agenda for the meeting included a welcome by Mayor Zeb Wignall, the pledge of allegiance, and a roll call. Discussion items included a presentation by Tiffany Wimer regarding a UDOT fiber project in central Utah, and discussions regarding bylaws for in-house spending limits versus council approval limits.
Additionally, the council was scheduled to consider ordinances for adopting accessory dwelling units (ADU) and industrial accessory dwelling units (IADU). According to a notice posted by Town Clerk/Recorder Krista Dutton, the meeting notice and agenda were posted at the Sterling Mart, the U.S. Post Office, and the Sterling Town Community Center.
