The Mapleton City Council has scheduled a meeting for Sept. 16, 2026, which will include a work session and a public hearing, according to a Sept. 9 notice.
The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. at 125 West 400 North in Mapleton. A work session during the meeting will focus on discussing urban deer.
Additional agenda items include a presentation from the Red Cross regarding the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. The council will also consider a resolution for an interlocal agreement with Spanish Fork City for building inspection and plan review services, as well as a resolution to award a construction contract for Evans Family Park.
A public hearing is scheduled to consider an ordinance to amend Public Works Design Standards.
The meeting will be streamed on YouTube at Mapleton City Meetings, though no public comment is permitted via the stream. The council may also convene into a closed session pursuant to Utah Code.
