The Mapleton City Council has released an agenda for a scheduled work session and regular meeting on September 16, 2026, according to a report published September 9. The meetings are set to take place at the Mapleton City Council Chambers, with the work session beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the regular meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.
The work session is intended to include a discussion regarding urban deer. Additionally, the Red Cross is scheduled to provide a presentation regarding the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
The regular meeting agenda includes a consent agenda and several items for consideration. This includes the approval of City Council meeting minutes from August 19, 2026, and a resolution for an interlocal agreement with Spanish Fork City for building inspection and plan review services. The council will also consider a resolution for awarding the construction manager/general contractor contract for Evans Family Park.
A public hearing is scheduled to consider an ordinance to amend Public Works Design Standards. The council may also adjourn the regular meeting to convene into a closed session pursuant to Utah Code.
