Utah law and a behind-the-meter gas plant are meant to keep Meta’s Eagle Mountain expansion off Rocky Mountain Power residential rates. The existing campus still used 35.1 million gallons of water and 1.12 million megawatt-hours in 2024; Meta says the new buildings will not use water to cool servers.

Meta Pledges $2.1 Million in Grants to Lake Mountain School District
