The East Carbon City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing and meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at 6:30 P.M., according to a Sept. 14 notice.
The meeting will take place at East Carbon City Hall, located at 101 West Geneva Drive, and will also be available via Zoom.
The agenda for the meeting includes a public hearing regarding a proposed water rate structure. Other items for discussion and possible approval include a discussion on the vacation of Circle Way in Columbia, a rezoning request for the ABC Learning Center, and a discussion regarding trailers and cars involving Gorden Roberts.
Additionally, the council will address the new ownership of Co Gen by Michael Walter. The meeting will also include reports from various boards and committees, including Planning and Zoning, Parks and Cemetery, Ambulance and Fire, and Maintenance.
The meeting may include a closed session to discuss the character or professional competence of individuals.
