The Herriman Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to address several municipal business items, according to a September 10 notice.
The meeting will begin with a 6:00 PM work meeting in the Fort Herriman Conference Room, followed by a regular meeting at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers located at 5355 West Herriman Main Street.
During the work meeting, the commission is scheduled to review City Council decisions and agenda items from the planning staff. The commission will also discuss a proposed amendment to Herriman City Code 10-10 regarding residential uses.
The regular meeting will include the approval of minutes from the August 19, 2026, Planning Commission meeting. Additionally, the commission will review and consider a preliminary subdivision plat for a single lot located generally at 5175 W Herriman Main Street in the MU-2 Mixed Use Zone and the Herriman Towne Center Master Development Agreement (MDA). The applicant for this subdivision plat is HTC Communities LLC, involving approximately 6.0 acres.
The public may provide comments on relevant and credible evidence regarding application compliance with ordinances. Citizens wishing to address the commission are asked to complete a written comment form for the City Recorder. Individuals are generally allowed three minutes to speak, while group spokespersons may be allowed up to five minutes.
