The Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force is hosting the 4th Annual Homicide Investigation Conference at the Weber County Sheriff's Office in Ogden, Utah. The event was scheduled for October 27-29, 2026.
The conference is intended for new detectives or those aspiring to become detectives, providing training and insights regarding homicide investigations. Jeffrey Ross, a retired FBI Special Agent with a background in psychology, criminology, and counseling, is the keynote speaker.
Ross has extensive experience in federal law enforcement, child services, counseling, therapy, and interrogation dating back to 1993. He holds degrees from Cleveland State University and The Ohio State University.
The conference runs daily from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Registration fees were set at $275 if completed before September 1, 2026, and $300 after that date. The conference is currently full.
