Traverse Mountain Rezoning
One major item on the agenda involves a request from Perry Commercial to amend the Traverse Mountain Area Plan. The developer is seeking to change the designation of approximately 5 acres located at the intersection of Timpanogos Highway and Mountain View Road from High Density Residential to Highway Commercial. The commission will hold a public hearing and provide a recommendation regarding this request.
Office and Residential Requests
The commission will also consider a request from Ryan Harmison regarding the 235 Office Suites Concept. The proposal, located at 235 W State Street, seeks approval for an exception. Additionally, the meeting will include a public hearing and recommendation for Jeanne Walker's request to review R-1-22 zoning for the Pasture Walk Annexation, which encompasses 4.4 acres located at approximately 900 North 1000 West.
Zoning Changes
Further land use discussions include a request from Nick Nelson to change the zoning of a property at 1193 North 2300 West. The Nelson Zone Change seeks to transition the land from TH-5 to A-5. The commission will hold a public hearing and provide a recommendation on this matter during the scheduled session.
Telecommunications Proposal
Beyond land use and residential developments, the commission is set to consider a conditional use request from AT&T. The request, for the AT&T River Walk Preliminary Children's Antenna, involves placing a telecommunications antenna on top of Primary Children's Hospital, located at 2250 North Miller Campus Drive.
