SUU Outdoors scheduled an installment of the Outdoor Education Series titled Your City as a Park. The event was set to take place at the Sharwan Smith Student Center in Cedar City.
The event was scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm MDT. Ben Cozzens was set to discuss his work with the University and Cedar City regarding sustainability practices and ways for the community to get involved.
This installment was to be held at the new Basecamp location within the Student Center. Attendees were offered free pizza and a social bike ride lasting no more than 15 minutes following the presentation.
The free event was intended for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community.
