Students from Rocky Peak Elementary, Kelsey Peak Middle School, and Kings Peak High School gathered for the Jordan Virtual Learning Academy Back-to-School BBQ, according to a report published August 27. The event allowed virtual school students to meet with classmates and teachers in person at the Jordan Learning Center.
The event included activities such as games and selfies with Rocky the Goat. During the BBQ, principals David Hullinger, Spencer Campbell, and Ammon Wiemers worked the grill, while Kings Peak student body officers assisted by loading plates for attendees.
The gathering provided a space for students to chat with friends and engage with their school community outside of an online environment.
