Utah football director of alumni relations Bo Nagahi recently shared details regarding Morgan Scalley's plan to prioritize reconnecting with former Utes. Nagahi identified three primary goals for the alumni program: connection, engagement, and access. His vision for the program includes providing mentorship, career opportunities, and support for degree completion and mental health. The initiative also seeks to strengthen relationships between current players and former players.
In a discussion hosted by KSL Sports' Steve Bartle, Nagahi also addressed the response from former players regarding these efforts. The podcast episode also featured Bartle identifying ten players who could potentially surprise this season, including Elijah Reed, Paul Fitzgerald, Ricky Johnson, and Steve Chavez-Soto.
