The Utah County Board of Equalization has released an agenda for a meeting scheduled for Sept. 16, 2026, according to a notice published Sept. 15.
The meeting is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at 100 E Center Street, Room 1400, in Provo.
Items on the agenda include the approval of minutes from the Board of Equalization meeting held on Sept. 2, 2026, and the approval of an assessor-approved review process report dated Sept. 14, 2026.
Board members will consider several classification changes for the 2026 tax year, including requests to move parcels from primary residential to secondary residential and vice versa. Additionally, the board will review an assessor request regarding a residential exemption for parcel number 37:235:0006 and a denial for parcel number 55:378:0013.
The meeting will also address a report of appeals dismissed due to a taxpayer's failure to cure a deficiency, with letters scheduled to be mailed on Sept. 16, 2026. Furthermore, the board will consider petitions to hear appeals related to the Farmland Assessment Act or the Urban Farming Act following the expiration of the 60-day filing deadline, based on recommendations from the auditor's office.
