Several Utah high school football players delivered standout performances during Week 4 of the season, according to reporting by Deseret News. The top 20 performances featured significant offensive contributions and critical defensive plays across various classifications, including touchdown hat tricks and high-yardage passing games.
Class 6A Highlights
In Class 6A, Bode Sparrow of Davis recorded a touchdown hat trick during a 27-6 victory over Alta. Meanwhile, Jaxon Hunt of Mountain Ridge completed 24 of 33 passes for 312 yards and seven touchdowns in a 59-0 win against Cedar Valley. In the same classification, Kome Toilolo of Copper Hills secured a 33-29 win over Layton by blocking a punt in the end zone and recovering it for a touchdown with 4:35 remaining in the game.
High-Octane Offenses
Class 5A saw significant offensive output, including Dennis Tua of Timpview, who caught 11 passes for 293 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-3 win over Payson. Beckham Curtis of Orem rushed for 254 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-14 victory over Springville. Additionally, Kamden Lopati of West completed 12 of 13 passes for 302 yards and five touchdowns during a 54-6 win against Hunter on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.
Key Class 4A Plays
In Class 4A, Parker Olson of Snow Canyon completed 26 of 38 passes for 339 yards and four touchdowns, including a game-winning pass to Isaiah Thompson with 22 seconds remaining in a 35-28 win over Woods Cross. Brexton Hunter of Provo contributed to an overtime 34-28 victory against Salem Hills by returning a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown and adding two receiving touchdowns. Ridgeline's Colton Clark also recorded a dominant defensive performance with three interceptions, seven tackles, and a sack in a 42-14 win over Mountain Crest.
Other Notable Performances
Other notable performances included Colton White of Richfield, who rushed for 195 yards and one touchdown in a 36-7 win over North Sanpete, and Camden Sheridan of Canyon View, who recorded four touchdowns in a 58-7 victory over Carbon. In Class 2A, Brigg Palmer of San Juan carried the ball 31 times for 235 yards and one touchdown, while also contributing two receiving touchdowns and seven tackles in a 38-14 win over Summit Academy.
Hunter Season Status
The Hunter High School football team entered the latter half of September with a 0-5 record. Their recent schedule included a 54-6 loss to West on Sept. 4, 2026, and a 33-30 loss to Hillcrest on Sept. 11, 2026.
Upcoming Schedule
Looking ahead, Hunter is scheduled to play West Jordan on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, followed by a matchup against Kearns on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026.
