The Summit County Council scheduled a public hearing for September 2, 2026, to discuss a rezoning request for the Crossroads at Silvercreek project, according to a notice published August 21. The meeting will address a proposal to change the zoning for a specific parcel from Rural Residential to a Community Commercial Zone and Master Planned Development.
The proposed development at approximately 7131 N. Silver Creek Road involves a master planned development for 66 townhomes, 4 apartments, and 20 affordable housing units. Additionally, the plan includes 32,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. The project is located on Parcel SL-I -9-A-AM. The applicant is Tony Tyler, acting as an authorized representative for the owner, CPD Silver Creek, LLC.
